Active, critical, responsive reading process

This learning objective is something that I use in everything that I do. Every paper or book that I pick up for a class I always have a pen in my hand an interact with the book.  This goes from agreeing with the author to asking what they really mean. I like to have full conversations with the writing in my hand.  This semester in ENG 123 we didn’t do as much reading as last semester in ENG 122.  When we did I still would use all the active reading that I had learned in high school. Something that could help my understanding with the readings is if i started complicating them.  Actually taking other learnings and applying them to what I’m reading to better help my understanding.
