When I looked over the literacy narratives of students and compared them to the categories that Alexander gave as examples it was clear that Success was one of the top tags out of all. The following tags that came in second was outsider and victim. This correlates very well with the work that Alexander showed in her work. When people write literacy narratives I’ve come to notice that they lean toward the aspect of success because it could be easier to write about. They could feel that it is a story that they know well and can write about it without having to put very much though into it.
